Christmas At Our House

I love Christmas and the true meaning of it! The BEST Gift in the world was given to us. Love came to Earth. During this season there is a 'Spirit' that prevails over all. A Person. No longer a baby in a Manger, but a victorious KING soon coming again!

Through our front doors, in this place, His Presence resides in the form of Love, Peace, Mercy, Gentleness, Kindness, Goodness and Joy! The Fruits of purposeful lives that can heal our weary and worn out souls.

I like to think of our place as a place of refuge where people can come to de-stress, regroup, and re-energize, and we will help you do just that! We gather with others at breakfast, laugh, share our stories, and encourage one another. We make friends and we move back out into the fray of life better for out time together! Open hearts, open new doors in our lives!

I've heard it said that the Spirit of Christmas can BE all year long. It can, but do we employ it each day? It was never meant to be one season, but a lifelong journey in learning to Love, not conditionally or selfishly, but unconditionally and sacrificially.

I say forget the commercial part of Christmas. The running of the feet and the credit cards!! The stress of paying for it and the fact that now it starts right around fall instead of Thanksgiving. By the time Christmas Day gets here, we all can't wait for it to be over! It's wonderful to give "A" gift.... but not lose the meaning of the Giver and the Giving in it. Not to forget time with family, friends and remembering those less fortunate.

Before you go out the door at the end of this December post

Have a Blessed and VERY Merry Christmas!

A wonderful, meaningful, and purposeful New Year!

Come see us soon! The lights are on and our door is always OPEN and Christmas is going to hang around here ALL YEAR!

Sincerely,

Janet Russo, Innkeeper

Lives Joined Together....Playing Our Part

The day to day life of an Innkeeper is a busy one most of the time. Early mornings begin the day with the smell of coffee perking, some soft music playing, and the aroma of breakfast permeating the kitchen and dining room. A pretty table set for the guests, some candles full of the scent of the present season, and the sound of our guests coming in the front door anticipating meeting new 'friends' and sharing laughter and great conversations. I feel so good and have to smile just listening from the kitchen to all of the banter that happens and the sounds of joy around the table! It's very special to me to be a part of that!

However, the greatest of all days are the ones where we play the host to two people so in love that they choose to begin their lives together here or maybe making a rock solid commitment to one another after some years by making their vows for a lifetime!

Today we had the honor of being a part of the Presley's marriage here at Red Bud Manor Inn, and in September, the Wilson's. But, I'll tell you a little secret. These kinds of days, along with all of the other guests who grace our doors make all of the early mornings and even those that run into the late evenings worth all of the hard work.

     It's a labor of love.

    The love of people.

     The love of service.

     The love of life.

We'd love to celebrate your special day with you and yours!

      Blessings and Peace,

       Janet, Innkeeper

Hello from Red Bud Manor Inn to all of our Guests and Guests to Be:

We are scaring up good times here in beautiful Eureka Springs, and as you can see we've gone a little batty around here! The weather is turning cool so we are working ourselves to the bone (no pun intended) getting everything ready for your first or next visit with us! Well, the truth is we just get excited about what we do!

There are a lot of fall festivities in Eureka Springs and we've entered our charming B&B into this years Halloween contest. Many of the other bed and breakfasts are in the contest as well, but as Catherine says:
"We're in it to WIN it!" (I can't wait to see what she's wearing!!)
We'd love to see you at the front door, so please, give us a call at (479) 253-9649 and reserve your stay. Aside from the goings on, you will have all the time in the world to sit and drink some hot cocoa on our beautiful front porch swing, take a leisurely stroll along the historic district, and admire the rustic fall colors. You can shop to your heart's content at our town's unique little shops, and wine and dine at some real restaurant gems!Well, we'll put the kettle on and hope to see you soon!

All Best,

Janet, Innkeeper

Cool Days, Warm Friends

Hello, Red Bud Manor Inn Guests, Former and Future!

My name is Janet Russo, and I am the new innkeeper here at Red Bud Manor Inn in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I am very excited and honored to be here among such wonderful guests, and the great people of Eureka Springs! I am blessed to work for a wonderful family that truly cares about their guests, and gives each person the V.I.P treatment (and then some!)

I recently moved here from the New England coast and while it was wonderful in the Fall walking the beaches and enjoying the fiery bright colors, I now get to enjoy them a little different here in the Ozark mountains. Fall is the season that brings new life to my soul! The cool, crisp, clean air, over-sized sweaters, blue jeans, fireplaces, cider, hiking, hayrides, smores and so much more!

This Fall I want to help you enjoy the season here at Red Bud Manor in Eureka Springs,  There is so much to do here that it's the go-to "hot spot" for a romantic weekend, vacation, a wedding, anniversary celebration or (my personal favorite) 'just because.'

Come and enjoy our cozy comfortable beds, luxurious rooms, wi-fi,  cable, jacuzzis for one or two, a gourmet breakfast served at nine a.m. in the dining room with love, chocolate-covered strawberries and other taste bud treasures you'll find waiting for you upon your return! There are also gardens to walk through and swings to take a nap in the sun on the front porch.

Well, I don't want to give you a spoiler alert by telling you anymore at the moment. You'll just have to come see and taste for yourself!

Your gonna love it here!
All Best,
Janet
